FX-ONE
LIVE DUB UNIT
FX One brings together four sound generators, a live-ready microphone channel, one auxiliary input and a central dub echo engine in one compact unit.
Designed for live performance, it gives you direct control over sound creation and echo manipulation without the need for complex setups.
A Complete Dub Performance Tool
Everything is internally routed and ready to play
Sound generators, microphone and auxiliary input can all feed the echo engine, allowing you to build and shape dub textures instantly.
Four independent dub sound FX: Dub Siren (classic siren sound), FM Square (square modulation with extended rate range for outer-space textures), Lickshot (another classic), Sonar (pure sine wave). Each generator offers hands-on pitch, modulation and dynamic sweep control for expressive real-time performance.
All sound FX are directly routed to the echo with a fixed amount.
A purpose-built dub echo engine combining integrated filtering, internal limiting for controlled feedback behaviour and smooth tape-like delay time response.
An integrated compressor controls the wide dynamic range of live vocals. The channel includes an anti-pop high-pass filter and is optimized for close use with dynamic microphones.
One auxiliary input with selectable line or spring tank mode, ready to integrate external instruments.
1.FX VOLUME:
Master level for all four sound generators.
2.GAIN:
Sets the output level of the individual sound engine.
3.TUNE:
Adjusts oscillator pitch.
4.RATE:
Controls LFO speed.
5.SWEEP:
Applies an envelope to pitch and LFO rate, starting from a lower/slower state and rising over time to the levels set by the controls.
6.TRIGGERS:
Activates the selected sound engine. FX B, C and D operate in momentary mode. FX A supports both momentary and latch operation, allowing sustained modulation without holding the trigger.
7.ECHO VOLUME:
Sets overall Echo output level.
8.FILTER:
Sweeps VCF cutoff from low-pass to high-pass, with flat response at center.
9.DELAY:
Sets the delay time. When adjusted, the delay time shifts with tape-style pitch behaviour.
10.FEEDBACK:
Sets number and intensity of repeats.
11.LOOP-CUT:
Loop: captures the current delay content and repeats it indefinitely.
Cut: Instantly mutes Echo output and feedback path.
12.OUTPUT VOLUME:
Controls overall unit output level.
13.VU METER:
Displays output level.
14.MIC ECHO:
Sets the amount of mic signal sent to the Echo.
15.MIC MUTE:
Sets the amount of mic signal sent to the Echo.
16.MIC GAIN:
Adjusts microphone input level (soft knee compression always active).
17.AUX MODE:
Selects standard line input or spring tank input.
18.AUX VOLUME:
Sets channel level to Master output.
19.AUX ECHO:
Controls how much signal is sent to the Echo.
20.MASTER OUT:
1/4” TRS balanced or unbalanced mono output.
21.MIC INPUT:
XLR balanced microphone input.
22.SPRING INPUT:
RCA-Jack for external spring tank.
23.LINE INPUT:
1/4” TRS balanced or unbalanced line-level input.
24.ECHO IN:
1/4” TRS balanced or unbalanced input feeding directly the Echo engine.
25.POWER SWITCH:
Turns the unit on or off.
26.POWER INPUT:
12VDC 1A Centre positive 2.1×5.5mm barrel type connector.
